I saw Madeline on 15/11 and I just wanted to feedback and say she's absolutely brilliant. She's been my dentist for as long as I can remember and she remembered that I'd recently started a new job from my last check up, and she must do that for every patient she has and that's such a nice thing. ORAL CANCER ACTION MONTH
NOVEMBER 2023

November is oral cancer action month to both make patients aware of the causes of oral cancer and the importance of self-checking the mouth and having regular
dental examinations.
​​
Checking the general health of the mouth including looking for signs of oral cancer is something we do routinely at your check up appointment.
​​
If you have a persistent ulcer lasting for more than 3 weeks, red or white patches inside the mouth, lumps in the neck or facial area, make an appointment and get them checked out!​
MINIMALLY INVASIVE DENTISTRY
We practise minimally invasive dentistry, which is all about preserving rather than removing tooth tissue.

We will try to restore teeth in the simplest way possible (using modern bonded tooth coloured restorative materials) and also try to preserve tooth structure by repairing existing restorations that have broken.
TEETH WHITENING
​Bleaching teeth is a safe and effective way of brightening up your smile that should only be carried out under the supervision of a registered dental professional, who will closely monitor the process at weekly or fortnightly intervals.
We make special transparent close-
fitting trays from impressions of the individual’s teeth.
Patients wear these trays overnight with a special bleaching gel inside them.​​
FAMILY DENTAL PRACTICE
We treat all age groups in a relaxed, caring environment from the very young
to the very old and are experienced in adapting our approach and treatment options to each individual patient.
RANGE OF SERVICES
We offer a full range of general dental services with an emphasis on prevention through regular attendance.
We practice minimally invasive dentistry preserving as much tooth structure as possible and repairing existing failing restorations with tooth coloured materials.

CHILDREN SEEN FREE OF CHARGE
We see children on the NHS free of charge.
We also see expectant and new mums on the NHS who are exempt
from NHS dental charges and are existing patients of the practice.

We will see existing patients who are students and apprentices
for whom minimal NHS charges will apply.
Unfortunately at present we are not able to accept any new children
on the NHS as we don't have the capacity to do so.
